The Inventor

Decor Bloc was created by Jean-Francois J. Tremblay, a contractor with over 30 years experience in the landscaping industry.
​
Mr. Tremblay worked many facets of the industry, by providing assistance to many well-known companies. His work in Canada & the United States allowed him to develop an expertise in the landscaping business. Mr. Tremblay, personally developed the entire line of product of Decor Blocs.
Decor Bloc has been recognized with many awards from organizations such as the Habitat Innovation, which recognizes the potential of a product and how it revolutionizes an industry. He received several honors including being the World Invention Book of 2000”. His creativity and knowledge of the Decor Bloc allowed him the development of many applications using the Decor Blocs.
The Blocs

The project originates from a practical experience in landscaping using other materials such as concrete, stones and other products commonly used in the industry.
The great flexibility of use of the product allows its inception in a variety of sectors that previously were treated with traditional, time-consuming and often quite more expensive materials, such as concrete, bricks, stones, wood, etc.

The flexibility of fabrication allows structural additive and composite to be added into the molding process and raw material, thus enhancing the strength of the material to surpass that of the traditional product being replaced. This has been studied and tested by the Canadian National Research Council (CNRC).
Furthermore, these products are ecologically oriented as they do not release any substances harmful to the environment and as they include a percentage of recycled material.
